FORM 3 CITIZENSHIP Course Title: Introduction to Citizenship Education (Form 3) Course Description: The Introduction to Citizenship Education course aims to provide Form 3 students with a comprehensive understanding of the concept of citizenship and its significance in contemporary society. This course will explore the rights, responsibilities, and duties of citizens, as well as the values and principles that underpin a democratic society. Students will engage in critical discussions, case studies, and interactive activities to develop their knowledge, skills, and attitudes towards active citizenship. Course Objectives: 1. To develop a clear understanding of the meaning and importance of citizenship in a diverse society. 2. To explore the rights, responsibilities, and duties of citizens at local, national, and global levels. 3. To examine the values and principles that promote social cohesion, equality, and justice in a democratic society. 4. To foster critical thinking skills and encourage active participation in civic affairs. 5. To promote ethical behavior, respect for diversity, and appreciation for cultural differences. 6. To enhance students' ability to analyze and discuss current issues related to citizenship and human rights. Course Outline: 1. Rights, Responsibilities, and Duties of Citizens - Fundamental rights and freedoms - Civic responsibilities and duties - Voting and political participation 3. Values and Principles of Citizenship - Equality, diversity, and inclusion - Rule of law and justice - Human rights and responsibilities 4. Active Citizenship and Civic Engagement - Community service and volunteerism - Grassroots movements and advocacy - Social entrepreneurship 5. Course Description

 FORM 3 CITIZENSHIP is a comprehensive course designed to provide students with a deep understanding of the principles and practices of citizenship. This course aims to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills to become responsible and engaged citizens in their communities and beyond. Through a combination of theoretical concepts, interactive discussions, and practical exercises, students will explore topics such as civic rights and responsibilities, democracy, diversity, and global citizenship. By the end of this course, students will have a solid foundation in citizenship education, enabling them to actively participate in shaping a just and inclusive society.
