Course Requirements

General Overview

This course helps Primary 6 pupils strengthen their French language skills by developing their ability to listen, speak, read, and write confidently. Learners will expand their vocabulary, improve grammar and pronunciation, and communicate effectively in everyday situations. The course follows the Cameroon Primary School curriculum and prepares pupils for the First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC) and entry into secondary education.

Compulsory Materials

  • Primary 6 French Language textbook approved by the Ministry of Basic Education (MINEDUB).
  • French exercise book or digital note-taking app.
  • Pen, pencil, eraser, ruler, and colouring materials where necessary.

Course Description

This course develops pupils' skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing French. Learners improve their vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and comprehension through interactive lessons, conversations, reading passages, and practical language activities based on the Cameroon Primary School curriculum.

Course Outcomes

By the end of this online course, pupils should be able to:

1. Listening and Speaking

    • Demonstrate respect and appreciation for the French language and Francophone cultures.
